Sacred Heart Academy is a Catholic K-8 school located in Redlands California. Established in 1897, Sacred Heart Academy holds the honor and distinction of being the oldest Catholic school in the Diocese of San Bernardino.

SACRED HEART ACADEMY WINS DIOCESAN ACADEMIC DECATHLON
On Saturday, March 7, 2009, Diocesan schools participated in the Academic Decathlon. The students at Sacred Heart won 1st place in the Logic Quiz, 1st place in the Super Quiz and became the Overall Champions. Several individual students distinguished themselves in these subject areas: 1st place in Religion, Melissa Dougherty; 1st place in Fine Arts, Katie Gomes; 1st place in Literature, Julie Dibs; 3rd place in English, Nikki Orban; 3rd place in Social Studies, Charlie Macleod. We are so proud of the 10 members of the Team: Kristine de los Santos, Julie Dib, Katie Gomes, Nikki Orban, Melissa Dougherty, Maddy Brown, Charlie Macleod, Daniel McFarland, Taylor Corbridge, Michelle Pineiro – and – the alternates/study buddies: Kristin Didier, Eric Aguilar, Allison McKenzie, Scott Kehrlein, Cloie Chiong, Gabby Sanchez and Isadora Silva. The students will continue their studies to represent our Diocese at the State Academic Decathlon in San Francisco on May 2, 2009.
